Sally Horton dedicates her life to her sole passion: the stage. Whether it be as an actor, singer, dancer, director, or teacher, she constantly strives to bring that passion to the people around her. Studying her craft in Washington D.C., Sydney, London, and Cardiff, she has accrued an excellent array of teachers and collaborators, and is eager to create thought-provoking theater.
She fondly remembers a childhood of dancing and singing around her home, and she has gone on to perform at esteemed venues worldwide, including the Kennedy Center (D.C.), Wolf Trap Center for Performing Arts (D.C.), the Richard Burton Theatre (Cardiff) and the Seymour Centre (Sydney). Each year she continues to discover more confidence in performance, growing in her craft and finding truth in performance.
Her experience varies from the Edinburgh Fringe, to the St James Choir Sydney, to the Silja Cruise Line. She has the ability to sing in a variety of styles including choral and pop, but she holds the greatest passion for Musical Theater.
Since performing overseas, she has returned to DC to continue her pursuit of theatrical opportunities both on and off stage. She seeks projects that challenge both herself and her audience. Most importantly, she wants the creation of theater to be a process where ideas are never static, always fluid.
