Sally Horton Imbriano is a musical theatre performer and teacher in the DMV Area. She received her Bachelor's degrees in Music and Psychology and her Master's degree in Musical Theatre and continues her training in voice, dance and acting.
Sally grew up studying ballet, piano, and singing before attending The University of New South Wales. There, she participated in shows onstage and backstage, working as the Costume Manager while performing in shows such as The Little Shop of Horrors, Assassins, Fiddler on the Roof, and Reefer Madness. She also directed her first show: Songs for a New World. She also studied choral music, performing professionally with The Choir of St James Sydney and with The Burgundian Consort.
She received her Master's degree in Musical Theatre from the prestigious Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where she performed in The World Goes 'Round and as Amy in Company. She continued her career in the UK, performing in the Edinburgh Fringe, the Going for Gold Festival London, and in short films and music videos. She expanded towards the continent, working as a cruise singer for Belinda King Production Company.
Sally moved back to the DC Area in 2017 and pursued theatre, working for companies such as Imagination Stage, Adventure Theatre MTC, Nextstop Theatre Company, and Creative Cauldron. Her singing students have worked at Signature Theatre, Olney Theatre Center, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Gala Hispanic Theatre, The Puppet Company, and Nextstop Theatre Company. She continues to perform onstage while maintaining her voice studio in Northern Virginia.
